Compared to last year, the harvest level has decreased by 20%, corresponding to a reduction of 1,722 centners.
The leading region in terms of harvest volume remains Osh, where 4,380 centners were collected. However, there is also a decline here: a decrease of 3,385 centners compared to 2024, which constitutes 56.4% of last year's figures. Within the Osh region, the largest amount of tobacco was harvested in the Nookat district — 2,800 centners (a decrease of 3,320 centners), while in the Aravan district, 1,580 centners were collected (a decrease of 5 centners), and in the Uzgen district, harvesting has not yet begun.
In the Batken region, on the contrary, there is positive dynamics: 1,952 centners have been harvested, which is 1,112 centners more compared to last year, corresponding to 232.4% of the 2024 level. The entire volume was obtained in the Kadamjay district.
The Chui region also showed growth, harvesting 605 centners, which is 551 centners more than last year, corresponding to an increase of 11.2 times. In this region, the largest amount of tobacco was harvested in the Issyk-Ata district — 425 centners (+371 centners, an increase of 787%), while in the Jayil district, 180 centners were recorded (no harvesting was conducted in 2024).
In the total harvest volume across the republic, the share of the Osh region is 63.1%, Batken is 28.1%, and Chui is 8.7%.
