At the coordination council in the Talas region, chaired by Mira Seydikirimova, attention was drawn to the importance of combating HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis.

Mira Seydikirimova noted that the goal of healthcare workers is to minimize the incidence of HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis. "We are confident in the success of our efforts in this area," she said, also mentioning the achievements in improving medical services and coordinating actions in accordance with current legislation.

The monitoring group provided information on current actions to eliminate legal barriers within the framework of HIV and tuberculosis prevention programs in the region.

It was also emphasized that staffing issues remain relevant in most regions.

Rayimberdi Ibragimov, head of the regional tuberculosis control center, reported that 6-7 projects aimed at combating tuberculosis were implemented in the previous year. "In recent years, we have hardly seen patients with advanced forms of this disease. Over the past nine months of this year, the number of such cases has decreased by 45 compared to last year. Our goal is prevention and early diagnosis, which will ensure good results," Ibragimov noted.

Ayjamal Shambetova, head of the project implementation group, spoke about grants and government programs in the healthcare sector aimed at increasing the effectiveness of the fight against tuberculosis and HIV.
