The Ministry reports that the aim of the competition was to activate scientific and innovative activities among youth, as well as to support new ideas and technologies that contribute to the country's development.
The application period was from October 7 to October 30. Citizens of Kyrgyzstan aged up to 35, including researchers, scientists, startups, and innovators, could participate, regardless of whether they held an academic degree.
Competition Results
In the nomination for "Best Startup Based on Scientific Research," the prize places were distributed as follows:
- 1st place — Factory Builder AI (Oman, Marat and Ormon Abyshyev) — an AI-based platform for creating and optimizing "smart factories."
- 2nd place — in vitro "Zhashyl Tokoy" (Jasmin Sherbakunova, Aydana Saadanova, Aydana Sabyrbek kyzy) — a project for creating genetically uniform spruce seedlings for rapid forest restoration.
- 3rd place — FinHub.kg (Victoria Bondareva) — a digital platform for comparing financial services and enhancing financial literacy using AI.
In the category "Best Solution in Sustainable Development and Green Technologies," the winners are as follows:
- 1st place — project by Saadat Beyshenbekova, Kanyshay Asanbekova, and Jazgul Duyshenbaeva — creation of safe and high-yield potato seeds that increase yield by 30–50%.
- 2nd place — project "Green Yard Bishkek" (Eldos Osmonov) — an initiative to create an environmentally sustainable urban environment with waste separation and greening.
- 3rd place — project "Museum of Astronomy" (Anna Kashanskaya) — an educational program that combines science, architecture, and ecology.
In the nomination for "Best Scientific Article of the Year," the following works were recognized:
- 1st place — an article on the impact of mercury pollution on the health of pregnant women in Kyrgyzstan (Aydarken, Kara-Suu), notable for its scientific novelty and social significance.
- 2nd place — a study on multicultural and personalized approaches in technological education in Central Asia (Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan).
- 3rd place — an article examining the system of infection control in medical institutions in Kyrgyzstan (2021–2023), with proposals for digitalization and standardization.
In the category "Best Young Scientist of the Year," the prize places were awarded to:
- 1st place — Mirgul Nizaeva — for active participation in international projects, development of digital skills, and publications in Scopus and Web of Science.
- 2nd place — Maksat Satybaldiev — for high scientific productivity, a monograph, and international publications.
- 3rd place — Begimai Kadyrova — for contributions to clinical research, pedagogical activities, and international scientific engagement.
"The future of Kyrgyz science depends on young scientists and innovators. Their ideas and energy become the foundation for a new research environment and pave the way for technological progress," noted Minister Bakhtiyar Orozov at the awards ceremony.
