This initiative arose from a protocol signed on July 18, 2025, within the framework of the Kyrgyz-Chinese Commission on Scientific and Technological Cooperation.
The main areas for cooperation include:
1. modern agricultural technologies;
2. transport innovations;
3. advanced manufacturing processes;
4. biomedical research;
5. application of science and technology to combat poverty;
6. development of a green economy;
7. environmental protection;
8. preservation of cultural heritage;
9. seismic activity.
It is planned to implement 10 projects within the framework of the competition.
The duration of each project should not exceed 3 years.
The minimum funding amount will be 1.5 million yuan.
Applications for participation must be submitted by both parties in a unified format. Kyrgyzstan accepts applications submitted in Kyrgyz, Russian, and English as official documents.
During the project implementation, participants are obliged to complete the scientific research, publish two scientific articles, and send at least two specialists for experience exchange to the partner institution.
The deadline for submitting applications is set for December 16, 2025.
