A new batch of textbooks adapted to local conditions has arrived in Kyrgyzstan. This became possible thanks to the joint efforts of the Kyrgyz-Russian group. The press service of the Ministry of Education reported on this significant event.

The total volume of the received textbooks amounts to 651,000 copies. The books were printed in Russia and delivered to Kyrgyzstan for further use.

Currently, the textbooks are being distributed to warehouses, and they will soon be sent to educational institutions across Kyrgyzstan.

These textbooks are intended for schools where instruction is conducted in Kyrgyz and Russian languages, covering the following subjects:

● "Russian Language and Reading";

● "Russian Language";

● "Russian Literature";

● "Russian and World Literature".

The adaptation of the textbooks concerned grades 1, 2, 5, and 7, and all materials underwent examination conducted by qualified specialists in accordance with the necessary standards.

During the meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission held on November 11 in Bishkek, Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Alexey Overchuk handed over the certificate of transfer of the textbooks to the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Adylbek Kasymaliev.

Work is also underway to adapt textbooks for grades 3, 4, 6, 8, and 9 for the same subjects.

These textbooks were published under a memorandum signed between the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, the state institution "Publishing House 'Okuu Kitebi'", and the joint-stock company "Prosveshchenie" from the Russian Federation.
