A new campus of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University is planned to be built on the outskirts of Bishkek.
Rector Sergey Volkov reported that work on the project documentation is currently underway, and the issue of allocating land for construction is also being addressed.
According to him, a final decision on this matter will be made during the 26th meeting of the Kyrgyz-Russian intergovernmental commission.
Volkov also noted that the funding for the project will be provided by the Russian Federation.
