Results of the Young Scientists and Innovators Competition Summarized in Bishkek

In Bishkek, the results of the Republican competition aimed at supporting scientific and innovative activities among youth have been summarized. The main goal of the event was to identify and encourage promising ideas and technologies that contribute to the development of the country.

The competition took place from October 7 to October 30, 2025. Participants could be citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic aged up to 35, including young researchers, scientists, and innovators, regardless of whether they held an academic degree.

Winners of the competition

In the nomination "Best Startup Based on Scientific Research":

1st place - Factory Builder AI (Oman, Marat and Ormon Abyshyev) - a unique platform using artificial intelligence for designing and optimizing "smart factories".

2nd place - in vitro "Zhasyl Tokoy" (Jasmin Sherbakunova, Aydana Saadanova, Aydana Sabyrbek kyzy) - creation of genetically uniform fir seedlings for accelerated forest restoration.

3rd place - FinHub.kg (Victoria Bondareva) - a digital platform that helps compare financial products and enhance financial literacy using AI.

In the nomination "Best Solution in Sustainable Development and Green Technologies":

1st place - project by Saadat Beyshenbekova, Kanyshai Asanbekova, and Jazgul Duyshenbaeva - development of safe and high-yield potato seeds that increase yield by 30-50%.

2nd place - project "Green Yard Bishkek" (Eldos Osmonov) - creation of an environmentally sustainable urban environment with separate waste collection and greening.

3rd place - project "Museum of Astronomy" (Anna Kashanskaya) - an educational initiative that combines science, architecture, and ecology.

In the nomination "Best Scientific Article of the Year":

1st place - article on the impact of mercury pollution on the health of pregnant women in Kyrgyzstan (Aydarken - Kara-Suu), distinguished by its scientific novelty and social significance.

2nd place - research on the integration of multicultural and student-centered approaches in technological education in Central Asia (Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan).

3rd place - article on the state of the infection control system in medical institutions of Kyrgyzstan (2021-2023), which proposed scientifically grounded recommendations for digitalization and standardization.

In the nomination "Best Young Scientist of the Year":

1st place - Mirgul Nizaeva - for active participation in international projects and publications in Scopus and Web of Science.

2nd place - Maksat Satybaldiev - for high scientific productivity and international publications.

3rd place - Begimai Kadyrova - for contributions to clinical research and educational activities.

The Ministry of Science, Higher Education, and Innovations of the Kyrgyz Republic congratulated the winners and expressed gratitude to all participants for their contributions to the development of science and innovation in the country. "Young scientists and innovators are the future of Kyrgyz science. Their ideas and energy shape a new research environment and pave the way for technological development in the country," noted Minister Bakhtiyar Orozov.
