The Ministry of Culture is developing a state program for the development of craftsmanship for the years 2026-2030 titled "Önör — Heritage and Development"

On December 2, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of the First Deputy Minister of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy, Soyuzbek Nadyrbekov, dedicated to discussing the state program "Өнөр — мурас жана өнүгүү," initiated by the Ministry of Culture to support craftsmanship from 2026 to 2030.

According to the ministry's press service, the discussion involved not only employees and leaders of relevant departments but also representatives of public organizations engaged in craftsmanship, as well as experts from ICHCAP — the International Information and Networking Centre for Intangible Cultural Heritage, operating under the auspices of UNESCO in the Asia-Pacific region (Korea).

During the event, key areas of the program were highlighted, including the development of crafts in various regions, increasing export potential, creating brands, preserving cultural heritage, sustainable development of the sector, implementing digital marketing, training and supporting craftsmen, as well as utilizing international experience, particularly Korean models.

Representatives from the Republic of Korea expressed their readiness to support the implementation of several initiatives aimed at expanding opportunities for craftsmen and developing cultural tourism within the framework of cooperation between the two countries.
