In Osh, a ceremony was held to mark the opening of a street, a monument, and a museum dedicated to the outstanding Kazakh poet and thinker Abai Kunanbayev. This information was provided by the press service of the Ministry of Culture.

The solemn event was attended by the Deputy Minister of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy Askaraly Madaminov, the Minister of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan Aida Balayeva, the mayor of the city of Osh Jenishbek Toktorbaev, as well as representatives of diplomatic missions and the creative community.

Aida Balayeva, the Minister of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan, highly appreciated the implementation of this project and expressed gratitude to all those who participated in its creation.

During the event, Jenishbek Toktorbaev was awarded the Order of "Dostuk" II degree, which was presented to him by the President of Kazakhstan for his significant contribution to strengthening friendship between nations.

In addition, Aida Balayeva visited the National Historical and Archaeological Museum Complex "Sulaiman-Too," which is one of the largest museums in Kyrgyzstan and is included in the UNESCO World Heritage list.
