How the Opening of Indian Film Days in Kyrgyzstan Went

The opening ceremony of the Indian Film Days in Kyrgyzstan took place on November 21 at the T. Abdumomunov Kyrgyz National Academic Drama Theater.

According to the Ministry of Culture, Information and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic, important guests at the event included the Ambassador of India, Berender Singh Yadav, and the Director of the Department of Cinematography, Talant Tolobekov.

As part of the "Indian Film Days" project, film screenings were held from November 22 to 24 at the "Ala-Too" cinema.

The program featured several popular Indian films, including:

— "Uurdalbagan koluktu" (The Unstolen Bride) with Kyrgyz subtitles, starring Shah Rukh Khan;

— "English Vinglish" with Russian subtitles, featuring Sridevi in the lead role;

— "Jashoo kyzyksyz bolushu mumkun emas" (Life Cannot Be Boring) with Russian subtitles, starring Hrithik Roshan.

The organization of this event was made possible through cooperation between the Embassy of India, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting of India, the National Film Development Corporation of India (NFDC), the Department of Cinematography of the Kyrgyz Republic, and the "Ala-Too" cinema.
