The Ministry of Culture presented a number of initiatives at the first meeting of the culture ministers of Central Asian countries.

On November 14, the First Meeting of Culture Ministers of Central Asian countries took place in Tashkent, attended by the Minister of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy of Kyrgyzstan, Mirbek Mambetaliev.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Culture, Kyrgyzstan presented a number of proposals, including:

- increasing cultural exchanges and organizing joint festivals;

- developing cooperation between museums and digitizing collections;

- promoting tourist routes along the Silk Road;

- supporting youth initiatives in the field of creative industries and cinema.

In addition, Kyrgyzstan expressed a desire for the countries of the region to participate in the VI World Nomad Games and events dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the Issyk-Kul Forum named after Chyngyz Aitmatov.

The message also notes that thanks to the joint efforts of the leaders of the three countries, border issues have been resolved, and the joint celebrations of Navruz in Khujand have become a symbol of friendship between the peoples.
