In Bishkek, the next steps for Kyrgyzstan were discussed following the World Summit on Social Development in Doha

On November 25, consultations were held in Bishkek to discuss further actions for Kyrgyzstan in light of the results of the second World Summit on Social Development, which took place in Doha from November 4 to 6.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Education, the event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Edil Baisalov, Minister of Education Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva, as well as representatives of various government structures and international organizations.

During the discussion, emphasis was placed on the development of human capital, intersectoral cooperation, and the implementation of the Doha Declaration, as well as on the current achievements of Kyrgyzstan within the framework of this declaration and the National Development Program-2030.

Edil Baisalov noted that the country is actively implementing reforms aimed at expanding social support and forming a human-centered state policy.

Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva emphasized that educational reforms are a crucial aspect for shaping the future human capital.

“Today, Kyrgyzstan is taking an important step towards creating a new educational system that will determine the quality of our future human capital. As the outcomes of the meetings in Doha showed, our efforts fully align with global trends. We have found partners willing to support us in matters of educational programs, infrastructure, digitalization, gender equality, and innovation. Only through the joint efforts of the state, international organizations, and experts can we ensure quality education, which will be the key to a successful future for every child,” she noted.

During the consultations, issues of sustainable financing, human capital development, and cooperation between the state and partners to achieve the goals of the National Development Program-2030 were also discussed.
