Joint consultations held in Bishkek following the World Summit on Social Development in Doha

Joint consultations were held in Bishkek, organized by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic in collaboration with international organizations, diplomatic missions, UN agencies, as well as representatives of civil society and the private sector. This event was dedicated to the outcomes of the Second World Summit on Social Development, which took place in early November in Doha, as reported by the government of Kyrgyzstan.

During the meetings, participants, including representatives from the ministries of education, health, labor, social protection, finance, and economy, discussed current national priorities and planned steps to improve human capital and social policy. The participants emphasized the importance of joint actions by all agencies to fulfill the tasks outlined at the summit in Doha and to achieve the goals of the National Development Program until 2030.

Edil Baisalov, Deputy Prime Minister, noted the government's commitment to implementing the decisions made in Doha, stating: "The Doha Political Declaration fully aligns with our course: we will utilize all available national and international resources to enhance social protection, education, healthcare, and ensure decent work. Improving the living standards and well-being of people is our central task, clearly reflected in the National Development Program until 2030."

The Second World Summit on Social Development, which took place in Doha from November 4 to 6, 2025, reaffirmed the global commitment to human dignity, social inclusiveness, and sustainable development. The decisions made at the summit, along with the National Development Program until 2030 and the UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF) for 2023–2027, create a coherent platform for strengthening human capital, decent work, social systems, and a "green" transition, ensuring that no one is left behind.
