The delegation of Kyrgyzstan participated in the Youth Council in Baku

In Baku, Azerbaijan, on November 12-13, the 8th meeting of the Youth Council of CICA (Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia) was held, with a delegation from Kyrgyzstan participating.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Culture, during the plenary session held on November 12, representatives of the CICA member states discussed key areas of youth cooperation. Among the topics discussed were the development of digital and innovative skills, increasing youth contributions to sustainable development, and actively engaging youth in international processes.

The next day, on November 13, a forum of leaders of the volunteer movement from CICA countries took place. During the panel discussions, participants discussed the significance of volunteering for society, the exchange of experiences between states, the development of youth initiatives, and strengthening cooperation in the region. Kyrgyzstan expressed its desire to develop volunteer organizations, launch new joint projects, and enhance cooperation with other member states.

The Youth Council of CICA is an advisory body within CICA, designed to coordinate the activities of youth organizations, associations, and movements of the member states. Its main goal is to promote cooperation, strengthen peace and friendship in Asia, and enhance youth participation in regional processes, including sustainable development, digital skills, and volunteering.
