He noted that this step symbolizes unity, shared heritage, brotherhood, and mutual respect within the Turkic community.

The Organization of Turkic States (OTS) is an international structure created to enhance cooperation among Turkic nations. It includes five countries: Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan. Additionally, Turkmenistan and Hungary participate in the organization as observers.
At the VIII Summit of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking Countries, held on November 12, 2021, in Istanbul, the Turkic Council was renamed to OTS.
