The forum was inaugurated with the participation of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Additionally, the event featured speeches from TRT General Director Mehmet Zahid Sobacı and SETA General Director Burhanettin Duran. A total of over 1500 participants gathered at the forum, including 132 speakers from 35 countries.
The forum focused on discussing future directions in international relations, covering issues of peace, security, economic development, intercultural dialogue, and changes in the geopolitical landscape.
Since its establishment in 2017, the TRT World Forum has become a platform for exchanging views among representatives of states, scholars, journalists, and community leaders from around the world.
As part of the forum, Aktoty Raimkulova also participated in an expert roundtable dedicated to the topic "Cultural Diplomacy and Collective Identity in Central Asia: Pathways to Regional Interaction and Unity."
She provided detailed information about the foundation's work and its collaboration with international organizations such as UNESCO, ISESCO, the Turkic Academy, TURKSOY, and the Organization of Turkic States. Among the foundation's projects were mentioned "Pearls of Turkic Literature," "Scientific Pearls of the Turkic World," the TurkDiscovery platform, the catalog "Cultural Code of the Turkic World," and the anthology "Heritage of Turkic Folklore."
The discussion also included notable figures such as former Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Joomart Otorbaev, former Minister of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic Azamat Jamankulov, TURKSOY Secretary General Sultan Raev, and the European Union Special Representative for Central Asia Eduards Stiprais.
