According to data announced on the air of "Birinchi Radio" by the director of the Center for Independent Certification and Validation under the Ministry of Education, Janar Shamatova, approximately 60% of the working-age population in Kyrgyzstan does not have vocational education.

Shamatova noted that the main goal of the center's work is to confirm and recognize professional skills acquired through formal or informal education. The center issues documents certifying the relevant qualifications.

“We are actively engaged in assessing the professional skills of citizens. As a result, the number of those wishing to undergo validation is growing. People come to us who need a document for employment, as well as those who are already working and want to advance in their careers. Additionally, we also receive individuals who work abroad and want to strengthen their positions in the labor market,” she added.

In the two years of the center's operation regarding validation, about 1,000 people have sought assistance, of which approximately 700 successfully completed the procedure.

The most in-demand professions for which validation is carried out include electricians for the repair of electrical equipment, cooks, plasterers, painters, plumbers, carpenters and furniture makers, automotive repair technicians, tailors and seamstresses with cutting skills, milling machine operators, lathe operators, masons, and other specialists.
