
In the Batken region, in the village of Kyzyl-Kyshtak in the Kadamjay district, work has begun on planting new seedlings of apricot and cherry.
According to information provided by the Ministry of Agriculture, new varieties of apricot, such as Mikado and Djebasreda, have been planted over an area of 6.5 hectares. These varieties are known for their early ripening (fruiting from April 25 to 30) and good transportability, with a projected yield of 8 tons per hectare over three years. In addition, cherry varieties Grace and Svid Arina were planted on the same area, which begin to bear fruit after 5 years, with a yield of 10 tons per hectare.
