
In 2025, the volume of work performed under municipal orders by MP "Tazalyk" amounted to 1.37 billion soms, which is 325.6 million soms more than in 2024. This report was presented by the First Deputy Mayor of Bishkek, Mirlanbek Baigonchokov, summarizing the work in the housing and communal services sector.
He noted that the area subject to sanitary cleaning increased to 11.1 million square meters, and the volume of work in this area reached 1.21 billion soms, an increase of 321.5 million soms. The number of subscribers serviced for solid waste collection amounted to 1.04 million people, and the income from this activity reached 913.9 million soms, which exceeds the planned indicators of 804.8 million soms by 113.6%.
As part of the greening and improvement initiatives, 18,755 trees and shrubs were planted in Bishkek in 2025 — 7,966 more compared to the previous year. Additionally, 1,586,001 annual flowers, 8,210 rose bushes, and 229,380 tulips were planted.
The cleaning of the riverbeds of Alamedin and Ala-Archa was carried out, during which about 107,000 tons of garbage and sediment were removed. Improvement works were carried out in the "Government" square at the intersection of Chortekov and Jaiyl Batyr streets, and an irrigation well was built on an area of 8 hectares.
MP "Bishkeksvet" carried out significant work on the modernization of the street lighting system in 2025, during which 1,161 lamps were replaced, almost 280 kilometers of self-isolated wires were laid, and 18,571 LED lights were installed, of which 6,815 were installed as part of capital construction. Additionally, 1,329 new lighting poles were installed, significantly improving the quality of street lighting in the city.
Furthermore, as part of the elevator modernization program in 2025, contracts were signed for the supply and installation of 100 elevators, with the replacement already completed at 36 sites.
In the field of water supply and sewage, a comprehensive work package worth 354 million soms was completed this year, allowing for the reconstruction of 1.41 kilometers of sewage networks and the replacement of 18.9 kilometers of water supply networks, thereby increasing the reliability of engineering systems and improving water supply quality in several districts of the capital.
Baigonchokov also emphasized that key projects were completed and continued, such as the expansion and commissioning of the "Bashkara-Suu" water intake, the reinforcement of the "Orto-Alysh" water intake, as well as the construction of a local water intake for the southern zone of the city for 48.5 million soms, which was fully implemented. The modernization of the "HBO" water intake for 113 million soms has also been completed, and the facility is being prepared for commissioning.
In conclusion, it is worth noting that a final meeting of the mayor's office board was held at the "Tunguch" theater, chaired by the head of the Cabinet of Ministers - head of the President's Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic, Adylbek Kasymaliev, where the results of the socio-economic development of the city of Bishkek for 2025 and the tasks for 2026 were discussed.
