On February 18, 2026, the mayor of the capital, Aibek Junushaliev, conducted an inspection of the municipal enterprise "Bishkekteploset," as reported by the city hall. During his visit, he toured Pumping Station No. 1, where he was shown the results of recent repair and technical work aimed at improving the reliability of heating supply. The mayor also examined the condition of old pipes that have been in use since 1985.
According to the enterprise's data, 63 emergency situations were recorded in the current autumn-winter season. In comparison, there were 73 and 87 emergencies in the 2024-2025 and 2023-2024 seasons, respectively.
"Some pipes need to be replaced, and we are gradually modernizing. It's not possible to completely update the system at once, so the work is being carried out in stages. We are repairing and simultaneously replacing the most worn-out sections. We urge residents to be understanding of the ongoing work," said Junushaliev.
Additionally, the mayor reviewed the updated dispatch service, which has been completely renovated, and the operation of the information system "ZULU GIS," which contains the passport data of the city's heating networks. This modern dispatch service, equipped with monitoring and management tools, allows for real-time tracking of the system's status, rapid response to emergency situations, and monitoring of special equipment movements using GPS trackers.
At the conclusion of his inspection, the mayor positively assessed the work of "Bishkekteploset" and set the task of increasing the number of subscribers and successfully completing the heating season of 2025-2026.
