During an inspection of the municipal enterprise "Bishkekteploset," Mayor Aibek Junushaliev noted the number of emergency situations that occurred on the heating networks during the heating period. According to the enterprise, 63 accidents were recorded during the autumn-winter season.
According to information from the press service of the mayor's office, 73 accidents were registered in 2024-2025, and 87 in 2023-2024. Despite a slight decrease in the number of incidents, the issue of infrastructure wear and tear remains relevant.
During the visit, the mayor also visited Pumping Station No. 1, where improvements aimed at increasing the reliability of heat supply were demonstrated, as well as sections of the heating networks that have been in operation since 1985 and need replacement.
We need to modernize many pipes, and we are gradually replacing them. It is impossible to update everything at once — the work is being carried out in stages.

The mayor added that, in parallel with the repair of the most worn-out sections, their replacement is also underway.
In addition, he familiarized himself with the capital renovation of the enterprise's dispatch center and the operation of the ZULU GIS system, which includes the passport data of Bishkek's heating networks. This system allows for real-time monitoring of the network's condition, quick responses to emergency situations, and tracking of special vehicles using GPS trackers.
At the end of the inspection, Aibek Junushaliev positively assessed the work of the enterprise, emphasizing the need for further modernization of the heating networks to reduce the number of accidents.
