The Mayor of Bishkek, Aybek Junushaliev, visited the burned house on Chyngyz Aitmatov Avenue, where a fire recently occurred. The mayor spoke with local residents, listened to their concerns, and clarified that the city administration has already begun providing urgent assistance to the affected families.
Following the inspection, it became clear that the building sustained serious damage and can no longer be used for habitation. The city administration is considering several options to address the housing issues of the affected individuals, including the possibility of appealing to the head of state with a proposal to provide housing through the State Mortgage Company.
After inspecting the scene, the mayor visited the injured in the hospital, inquired about their condition, and reported that the documents for allocating funds from the city administration's reserve fund are already being processed. These funds will be directed to provide financial assistance to the families.
The affected residents are temporarily housed in the A. Kanymetov Gymnasium-Boarding School No. 1. Conditions for their accommodation have been organized on-site, and city services are providing necessary support and helping to address current issues.
The Bishkek city administration continues to monitor the situation and is working to ensure that the affected families receive all necessary assistance.
