The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic has reported a traffic accident that occurred in the state of Indiana, USA, involving three nationals of the country.
The General Consulate of Kyrgyzstan in Chicago has been in constant contact with the relatives of the deceased and the injured since the tragedy, providing necessary consular and legal assistance. Communication has also been established with local law enforcement agencies and funeral services,” the statement notes.
Currently, work is being conducted in collaboration with the relevant American authorities to clarify all the details of the incident and to organize the necessary procedures, including the transportation of the deceased's body back to their homeland.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic is closely monitoring the situation and will continue to provide full support to the victims and their families,” the statement from the foreign ministry emphasizes.
