The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic expressed deep regret regarding the inclusion of a number of legal entities from the country in the European Union's sanctions list, according to information from the ministry's press service.

In its statement, the Ministry emphasized that Kyrgyzstan strictly adheres to international obligations and actively engages in constructive dialogue with European partners to prevent circumvention of sanctions.

Furthermore, the ministry noted that the EU consistently emphasizes its readiness to develop strategic cooperation with Central Asia and to promote the socio-economic progress of Kyrgyzstan. In this regard, the republic is open to equal, mutually respectful, and trust-based interaction with the EU and its members, which, according to the Kyrgyz side, would yield more significant results than the use of unilateral sanctions.

As practical steps, Kyrgyzstan officially proposes that the EU conduct an internationally recognized independent audit to verify the factual information and confirm the validity of the grounds for imposing restrictions.

Additionally, Kyrgyzstan is initiating the creation of a specialized joint technical working group "Kyrgyzstan - European Union," which will carry out regular data exchange, monitor financial transactions, and jointly assess risks.
