As a result of the fire that occurred in a building on Chyngyz Aitmatov Avenue, the Mayor of Bishkek, Aibek Junushaliev, visited the affected area. He spoke with residents, listened to their requests, and announced the start of urgent assistance for families affected by the fire, as reported by the press service of the mayor's office.
According to preliminary data, the building sustained serious damage and has become uninhabitable. The mayor's office has developed several alternatives to address the housing issue for those affected. One of the proposed options is to appeal to the president for the allocation of housing through the State Mortgage Company.
After inspecting the scene, Junushaliev also visited the victims in the hospital. He checked on their condition and reported that preparations for the allocation of funds from the mayor's reserve fund, which will be directed to assist the families, have already begun.
Temporary accommodation for the residents of the burned house has been organized at Gymnasium-Boarding School No. 1 named after A. Kanimetov. Necessary conditions have been created on-site, and city services are providing support in addressing current issues.
