In Saudi Arabia, more than 40 pilgrims from India died in a traffic accident

As a result of a serious car accident in Saudi Arabia, at least 42 pilgrims who arrived from the Indian state of Telangana have died. According to information provided by India Today and the TASS news agency, the incident occurred early in the morning on November 17. A bus traveling from Mecca to Medina collided with a diesel tanker, and the impact was so powerful that many passengers died on the spot, while several others sustained serious injuries. Emergency services arrived at the scene to conduct rescue operations and provide first aid to the victims.

India's Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar expressed condolences to the families of the deceased. He also noted that Indian diplomats in Riyadh and the consulate in Jeddah are providing support to the citizens and relatives of the accident victims.
