According to sources in the Pakistani security service, the incident at the city court is classified as a terrorist attack carried out by a suicide bomber.
The explosion occurred in a parking lot near the judicial complex, which is located in an area where key government buildings are concentrated.
So far, no one has claimed responsibility for the incident; however, CNN reports that the attack may be linked to militants associated with the "Taliban" and India.
This incident occurred less than a day after an attack on a cadet college in the northwest of the country.
