According to the information, the incident took place in the area of Orekhovaya Sopka when a train collided with a bus. This happened after the bus ran a red traffic light. Among the injured were the bus driver and three passengers, including one child.
The accident occurred at a railway crossing located on Kola Beldy Street, 4/3. All the injured were hospitalized, with one woman in serious condition; however, the lives of the others, including the child, are not in danger.
Representatives of the Far Eastern Railway noted that the train driver applied emergency braking, but it was not possible to avoid the collision due to insufficient distance.
Due to the serious harm to people's health caused by the violation of safety rules, investigative authorities have initiated a criminal case.
According to the investigation, the bus driver, a 59-year-old citizen of Kyrgyzstan, intentionally increased speed before colliding with the train. He had been working for the transportation company since April of this year.
