Bishkek hosted a raid event organized by the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision aimed at controlling harmful emissions from vehicles. During the raid, conducted in cooperation with inspectors from the Bishkek Regional Department of Environmental and Technical Supervision and city patrol service officers, vehicles that exceeded the permissible limits of pollutant emissions were identified.
As a result of the inspection, it was found that three vehicles were polluting the atmosphere more than 50% above the allowable level.
Based on Article 234 of the Code of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Offenses," three protocols were drawn up against the owners of these vehicles.
The total amount of fines amounted to 22,500 soms.
Raid activities will continue with the aim of improving air quality and reducing pollution levels in the capital.
