Due to the necessity of conducting repair work, the southern part of Deng Xiaoping Avenue in Bishkek will be temporarily closed, as reported by representatives of the city hall.
The closure will affect a section of 4.458 km, located between Intergelpo and Kustanayskaya streets.
Starting from February 24, the road will be closed on the section from Intergelpo Street to Kainazarov Street.
The work will begin earlier than planned due to the need to replace water pipes. The plans also include the dismantling of the old road surface, widening of the roadway, installation of new curbs, and laying fresh asphalt.
The repairs will be carried out in three stages, with a phased opening of sections planned over the course of a month.
