During his tour of the old market in Osh, Mayor Janar Akaev held a meeting with local blacksmiths.
According to the mayor's office, during the conversation he noted the current state of the trading areas and emphasized the importance of improving the working conditions for blacksmiths, with a focus on adhering to modern safety and hygiene standards.
Additionally, the mayor issued directives for transforming this area into a tourist quarter that will concentrate on the development of national crafts. It was emphasized that the new district will function as a craft zone rather than a traditional shopping center.
