
According to the report from the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Kyrgyzstan, by the end of 2025, there are 15,278 electric vehicles in the country, which accounts for 0.8% of the total number of registered vehicles.
The agency noted that there is a steady increase in the popularity of electric vehicles in the republic. In 2022, 1,113 such vehicles were registered, in 2023 — 2,310, and in 2024 — 3,122.
By 2025, this figure increased to 9,870 electric vehicles, confirming the growing interest of citizens in environmentally friendly modes of transport.
Furthermore, the ministry reported that there are more than 100 charging stations for electric vehicles operating in Bishkek, which contributes to the development of the necessary infrastructure and stimulates further growth in their numbers.
