In the Batken region, the relocation of residents from landslide and rockfall zones is being considered

In the upper part of the Ayil Okmotu Altyn-Beshik, 62 households are at risk, reports Turmush correspondent.

Today, employees of the Emergency Situations Department of the Batken region, together with representatives of local authorities, visited the specified area, where residents were handed warnings.

In the villages of Sogment, Jangyryk, Sary-Talaa, and Kayindy, explanatory activities were held regarding the threats of landslides, rockfalls, and mudflows, discussing the possible relocation of residents to safer areas. Written notifications were provided to both residents and the heads of the Ayil Okmotu.

According to available data, within this Ayil Okmotu, 62 households are exposed to the risk of mudflows, rockfalls, and landslides.

According to information from the Ayil Okmotu Altyn-Beshik, 48 out of 62 households have already received assistance from the government, including land plots and housing certificates (loans). 14 families have not received either land or loans, while 7 households were able to obtain cash loans.
