In the Jalal-Abad region, in the Suzak district, forced resettlement of citizens living in potentially dangerous areas will begin. Bailiffs will soon start evicting six families for whom corresponding decisions have already been made. This was reported by Chynarbek Shekenov, head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) for the Jalal-Abad region.

According to Shekenov, this measure is forced and aimed at protecting the lives of citizens and preventing emergencies. "With the arrival of spring, processes such as landslides and rockfalls become more active. In this regard, local MES units are working in an enhanced mode to ensure the safety of people. We are conducting active preventive work," he noted.

As part of the preventive measures, MES employees have carried out the following actions:

- Notifications and orders regarding the necessity of relocation have been handed to 648 families living in hazardous areas.

- Local authorities have prepared more than 100 cases concerning households that do not comply with safety requirements and have submitted them to the court.

- Court proceedings concerning 6 families have been completed, and the decisions have come into force; they are now handed over for enforcement.

The issue of living in areas with a high risk of natural disasters remains relevant for the region. According to MES data, currently, 1009 families continue to live in hazardous zones of the Jalal-Abad region, and work on their phased resettlement to safe areas continues.
