Schoolchildren of Kara-Kul Demonstrated Their Military Training Skills at the Defender of the Fatherland Day Competition

On February 27, a competition titled "Preparation of Youth for Military Service" was held at military unit No. 7706 of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, dedicated to Defender of the Fatherland Day.

Turmush correspondent reports that the event was attended not only by students but also by representatives of the city administration.

Students from six general education schools in Kara-Kul and students from vocational college No. 89 participated in the competition. They showcased their skills in military training, physical culture, and tactics by performing drill exercises, as well as demonstrating their ability to assemble and disassemble a rifle and put on a gas mask.

The judges evaluated the participants based on criteria of discipline, promptness, accuracy, and teamwork.

As a result of the competition, teams that demonstrated the best results were identified and awarded cash prizes and certificates:

1st place — General Education School No. 1 named after T. Satylganov;

2nd place — General Education School No. 4 named after D. Shopokov;

3rd place — General Education School No. 2 named after Ch. Tüleberdiev.

Additionally, the other four schools that actively participated in the competition also received cash prizes and certificates.

The aim of this event is to foster patriotism among youth, improve preparation for military service, and develop physical endurance and basic military skills.
