The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic has published a refutation regarding the information circulating in messengers and social networks about the existence of criminal groups posing as utility service workers.
According to the ministry, these messages are not true. The Ministry of Internal Affairs has not issued any warnings of this nature.
Citizens are urged to remain calm and to refer only to verified official sources.
Furthermore, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reminded that the dissemination of false information may lead to criminal liability under the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The ministry requests not to forward such rumors and to rely exclusively on the official information channels of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
