A new electric bus route No. 62 will start operating in Bishkek from March 3

The Bishkek City Hall has announced the launch of a new electric bus route No. 62, which will begin operations on March 3.

The electric buses will provide a connection between the Alamedin-1 microdistrict and Kirkmas, offering residents modern and environmentally friendly transportation solutions.

The route will run along B. Alykulov, L. Tolstoy, and Auezov streets.

The creation of the new route is part of a program to optimize the urban transport system, which also included changes to routes No. 35, No. 45, No. 61, and No. 51.

It is planned that the update of the route schemes will occur in stages, aimed at reducing congestion in the city center. In the future, route changes will include the use of alternative streets.
