In the city of Kara-Kul, they celebrate State Flag Day and Ak Kalpak Day

On March 3, a solemn event took place in Kara-Kul in front of the city hall, dedicated to the adoption of the state flag of the Kyrgyz Republic and to the Day of the Ak Kalpak, which is celebrated on March 5.

Participants in the event included Deputy Mayor Manas Abdykalykov, employees of local institutions and enterprises, military personnel from military unit No. 7706, as well as students from Lyceum No. 89 and the Kara-Kul branch of the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razakov.

The Deputy Mayor, opening the celebration, congratulated the citizens and emphasized that the flag of the country is a symbol of independence and unity. He also noted that the ak kalpak is a sacred attribute that embodies the rich history, spiritual traditions, and uniqueness of the Kyrgyz people.

The event concluded with a concert program prepared by the workers of the House of Culture. The dance ensemble "Zhas Kyial" presented traditional dances to the audience, creating a festive atmosphere.
