According to the press service of the presidential representative office in Osh, the event was attended by the head of the Osh region, Amankan Kenjebayev, the mayor of Osh, members of parliament, heads of various institutions, as well as local residents and military personnel.
During the celebration, military personnel raised the national flag in the central square, which became a symbolic gesture of unity.
- The national flag was adopted by the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan on March 3, 1992, after two months of discussions. This year marks 34 years since its approval.
