The State Tax Service (STS) of the Kyrgyz Republic has stopped an attempt to illegally import electrical devices. This was reported by the press service of the STS.
The incident occurred at a goods accounting point near the "Ak-Zhol" checkpoint on the border with Kazakhstan. During the inspection, two vehicles were detained, which contained electrical appliances of the Dyson brand without the necessary accompanying documents.
The discovered cargo included 44 hair dryers and 66 curling irons, with a total estimated value exceeding 5 million soms.
Based on the identified violations, appropriate acts were drawn up, and the vehicles were placed in a penalty parking lot.
