A meeting dedicated to the issues and prospects of veterinary industry development was held in Bishkek. The Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, Erlis Akunbekov, familiarized himself with the work of the A. Dyusheev Kyrgyz Scientific Research Institute of Veterinary Medicine.

During his working trip, the minister reviewed the material and technical base of the institute, modern laboratories, and key areas of scientific research. An important aspect of the discussion was the measures to ensure veterinary safety.

The institute's specialists also shared their opinions at the meeting, where current issues concerning the industry were raised, and solutions were proposed, including problems in the scientific field.

Akunbekov emphasized that the development of the veterinary sector, improving the quality of scientific research, and the implementation of innovative technologies in production are among the main priorities of state policy.
