The State National Security Committee (GKNB) responded to the comment made by the deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh, Ulanbek Zhaanbaev, regarding the difficulties citizens face when bringing money into Kyrgyzstan.
In its statement, the GKNB emphasized that control over monetary operations at the border is carried out in accordance with the country's legislation and international standards.
The special service added: "These measures are aimed at protecting financial security and preventing illegal financial operations."
