In the city hall of Osh, a meeting took place between Janarbek Akayev, the mayor of the city, and Mukhtar Akhat, the Consul General of Kazakhstan.
During the discussion, key areas for further development of bilateral relations were considered. In particular, the participants proposed new ways to strengthen cooperation within the framework of sister city agreements between Osh and Kazakh cities such as Shymkent and Taraz.
The parties also discussed a joint program that includes the organization of planned sports events and the development of educational initiatives, as well as cooperation in various other sectors.
During the conversation, it was emphasized that the relations between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan are based on friendship and mutual trust, as well as on strategic partnership. The participants noted the importance of preserving and deepening existing traditions and previously reached agreements.
