The Justice Affairs Council has completed the processing of applications from those wishing to fill vacant judicial positions in the Constitutional and Supreme Courts, as well as in local courts. This was reported by the press service of the Council.
As a result of the review, a list was compiled of those who passed the selection and were admitted to the competitive process.
Nine people applied for one vacancy in the Constitutional Court, while twelve candidates submitted documents for two vacancies in the Supreme Court. All of them passed the selection and were granted access to the competition.
For 13 vacant positions in the local courts of the Kyrgyz Republic, 265 people submitted documents. Following a preliminary analysis, 260 candidates were admitted to the competitive selection. One participant withdrew their application, and four did not meet the participation requirements.
One candidate did not pass the scoring system of the previous competition, as the established one-year period since their participation has not yet expired. One participant submitted an incomplete set of documents, and two candidates did not meet the integrity criteria.
The Council will continue its work in accordance with the established competitive selection procedures.
