Due to unfavorable weather conditions in the capital of Kyrgyzstan, the opening of the northern side of the bridge on Jibek-Jolu Avenue has been postponed to this weekend. This information was announced by the Bishkek city administration.
It was previously planned that the opening would take place on March 10 in the afternoon.
We remind you that the width of the bridge before the reconstruction was 9 meters. After the work was completed, the bridge was expanded to 13 meters on the northern side. As a result, the total width of the bridge is now 34.3 meters, and its length is 25 meters.
According to the information, traffic will be conducted on the northern side, while the opening of the southern side is scheduled for the end of March.
At the moment, the relevant services continue to work on completing the reconstruction.
