Kyrgyzstan Purchases Electricity Annually from Four Countries

Every year, Kyrgyzstan imports about 4 billion kWh of electricity. This was reported on the air of the program "Elden Sobol" by Ulu Bek Duysho uulu, Deputy General Director for Commercial Affairs of the Open Joint Stock Company "National Electric Network of Kyrgyzstan" (NESK).

He noted that the main sources of imports are Kazakhstan, as well as Russia, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.

At the same time, as emphasized by the NESK representative, the country is currently not exporting electricity.
