In the Chuy region, a raid called "Pedestrian" has started, aimed at increasing road safety.

This information was provided by the press service of the Traffic Safety Department of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chuy region.

The organizers of the event, the traffic safety department, aim to prevent road accidents involving pedestrians.

The press service of the Traffic Safety Department of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chuy region noted that during the raid, explanatory talks are held with pedestrians, and measures are taken to enhance safety on the roads.

Local residents of the Moscow district reported that near the central market "Yarmarka," which is located along the Bishkek - Kara-Balta highway, people often climb over the concrete barrier set up in the middle of the road.

"We don't know who opens and closes this barrier, but it happens 2-3 times. We are already confused. There is an underpass, but to get to it, you have to walk around and carry heavy bags, which takes a lot of time. Therefore, people prefer to climb over the concrete barrier to cross to the other side of the road," local residents shared their opinions.
