The Prosecutor General's Office identified 172 violations of the conflict of interest law in 2025

During more than 70 inspections conducted in 2025, the prosecutor's office identified 172 violations of legislation related to conflicts of interest. Deputy Prosecutor General Zalkarbek Aknazarov presented this data at a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh.

This information was provided in the context of discussing the draft law on amendments to the "On Conflicts of Interest" law in its second reading.

Aknazarov noted that one official was held administratively liable and fined for failing to comply with regulatory requirements. In addition, 84 individuals faced disciplinary actions.

Among those held accountable were employees of state institutions and local self-government bodies. The main violations included the absence of declarations of personal interests and the use of state and municipal property for personal purposes.
