Today, March 12, four units of new equipment were handed over to the municipal enterprise "Manas Tazalyk".
The ceremony of handing over the keys was attended by the mayor of the city and the head of the region. Baigazy Ergeshov, the head of the enterprise, noted that the equipment was purchased with funding from the regional development fund.
“Previously, we did not have specialized equipment for winter clearing of pedestrian paths,” he added.
The new tractors are designed for collecting and sweeping snow, which will significantly simplify the work of the employees.
Previously, workers cleared the roads manually using shovels.
To acquire the small tractors, the enterprise managers approached the Jalal-Abad regional development fund, which allocated 7 million 100 thousand soms, with which these four units of equipment were purchased,” Ergeshov said.
Additionally, he clarified that in 2025, another 12 units of equipment were purchased for the needs of the enterprise using the city budget.
“Manas Tazalyk” employs 178 staff members, and the total number of special equipment exceeds 30 units. Every day, 350 tons of garbage are removed from the city.
