In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, an Indian duck was spotted perched on a pole.

“At first, I noticed a large bird on the pole and thought it was a wild individual that might have gotten lost during migration. However, when I took a closer look, I realized it was an Indian duck. I wasn't familiar with it,” shared local nature enthusiast Vasily Zaitsev.

Most likely, the bird escaped from its owners amidst the hustle and bustle of pre-New Year preparations, deciding to embark on a little adventure.

“Indian ducks can fly quite well if their wings are not clipped,” he added.
